Sometimes things just seem to fall into place.

Next Tuesday I am meant to be meeting up with a couple of friends for a lads day out. I have been rather inattentive about sorting things out for the day, I'm being indecisive again. I knew that if I had left it until the day I know I would have had them knocking down my door. So today I thought I better do something about it.

After a flood of text messages and a couple of phone calls we now have a plan. Things seemed to just fit into place, which was a bit surprising with plans on who was going north/south or whatever. The plan is to play some chip and putt golf, maybe watch a film and generally eat, drink and be merry.

Then I've now been sorting out things around that. Now I have an idea of what is going on next week. You never know, I might even have a planned holiday. OK, that would be going on too far.

So that brings me to today's point.

Sometimes, life is like a jigsaw puzzle. You have all of these going on around you and occasionally there are so many things going on that it is easy to get lost. You need to just take a deep breath and see how things link together, and then plan how you can get through the different things.

One thing I've noticed is that things aren't necessarily as bad as they appear to be. When things are flying around I'll get anxious, and more worried about what I can't do as opposed to what can be done. I find that I work on one thing and that everything else fits in around it. You find a momentum and things just work out.

So Forest Gump was wrong. Life is not like a box of chocolates (Where someone else has always taken the nice ones), but like a 500 piece jigsaw. Find the corners and work out from there.

Bye for now
